The furniture-selling ex-husband of a woman whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in his store has hanged himself in the same building, according to a police source.
The unidentified man’s body was found in a closet at 728 E. 136th St. in Port Morris, according to the high-ranking source.
It was not immediately clear when the man died.
Police found the remains of his ex-wife, 55-year-old Djamila Requieghmuda, wrapped in a blanket with trauma to her head at the same address Thursday morning.
Her death has been ruled a homicide by the NYPD.
The couple apparently had a violent history and were divorced as a result, sources have said.
Their 22-year-old daughter told cops that her dad had threatened to kill Requieghmuda in the past, the sources said.
