A Williamsburg man is clinging to life after being shot in the face on Thanksgiving Day, police said.

The 32-year-old victim was inside the building where he lives on Hewes Street and Harrison Avenue at around 5 a.m. when he and the suspect got into an argument in the lobby, according to police.

The suspect suddenly whipped out a pistol and fired at the victim, hitting him in the face, cops said.

The victim was rushed by EMS to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, authorities said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the violence or if the two men were acquainted, cops said.

Police did not immediately have a description of the suspect.
