A Jackson Heights man died after he was hit by a livery cab in Queens early Sunday morning and left seriously injured on the street by the driver who sped off, police said.

Pedro Perez, 51, was hit by a black Lincoln Town Car just after 5 a.m. on Roosevelt Avenue and 112th Street in North Corona, police said. The driver then sped off westbound on Roosevelt Avenue.

Perez was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with severe trauma to the body.

He died later in the day.

Police are still investigating the incident.
