A maniac ex-con was indicted Wednesday for fatally stabbing a grandmother in broad daylight on Staten Island.

Dantey Moore, 27, was charged with murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon in Staten Island Criminal court for the brutal Nov. 27 attack on Geetha Howie — and wounding a good Samaritan who tried to help her, according to the District Attorney’s office.

“The senseless killing of Geetha Howie is a terrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time,” District Attorney Michael E. McMahon said in a statement.

Moore savagely attacked 63-year-old Howie just blocks from her Randall Manor home — stabbing her in the repeatedly in the face and chest.

When cops arrived at the scene, Moore was cradling Howie as she lay dying.

Moore was on probation for for domestic violence — and previously arrested 34 times, including for allegedly attacking his 3-year-old nephew and strangling his girlfriend.
