A livery cab passenger flung from his ride was among five people hurt in a Bronx car crash early Saturday, police said.

The 56-year-old livery passenger was in critical condition Saturday morning at a local hospital. His condition later stabilized, authorities said.

The man was flung from the cab when it collided with a Toyota minivan on Jerome Avenue near West 172nd Street at about 2 a.m.

Four other people suffered minor injuries in the ugly smashup. They were all treated and released from local hospitals.

The minivan jumped a curb and plowed over a tree before it hit the other cars, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
