A man was injured after being hit by a subway train in Manhattan early Thursday, police said.
The unidentified man was struck by a downtown 2 train at the 125th Street Station in Harlem at about 7:40 a.m., officials said.
First responders removed the man from the tracks and rushed him to NYC Health+Hospitals/Harlem in serious condition.
“There are delays and multiple impacts on 2 and 3 trains while EMS responds to a customer who was struck by a train at 125 St,” the MTA tweeted.
Regular service resumed about an hour after the incident.
It was not immediately clear how the man ended up on the tracks, police said.
