A man was critically injured after a fire ripped through an apartment building in the Upper East Side, fire officials said.
The all-hands blaze broke out in a second floor residence at 181 East 73 Street at 2:06 p.m.
Firefighters found the victim inside the burning apartment. He was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center with severe burns, officials said.
The blaze was knocked down by 2:44 p.m. The cause remains under investigation
