A man is in critical condition after jumping from the Manhattan Bridge on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The unidentified man, who police said is in his 60s, jumped from the bridge shortly after 2 p.m. Members from NYPD’s Harbor Unit rushed to remove him from the East River.

Medics transported the man to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
