A man jumped off the George Washington Bridge on Thursday, Port Authority police said.

Witnesses told police they saw a man stop his Toyota Prius in the New Jersey-bound lanes around 10:20 a.m.

He then got out of the car and climbed onto the bridge’s northern walkway near the tower on the New York side and leaped into the freezing Hudson River.

NYPD and PAPD units pulled the man from the water and took him to Manhattan’s Dyckman Marina before getting him to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.

His condition was unclear.

Investigators did not find a suicide note in the man’s car.

His identity has not yet been released, but PAPD officials said he was carrying identification that indicated he is a 48-year-old Brooklyn resident.
