A 53-year-old man plunged to his death from the rooftop of a Manhattan high-rise apartment building Wednesday morning, police said.

The unidentified man jumped from the 23-story building at 25 Tudor City Place just before 7 a.m., police said.

He was pronounced dead on scene by EMS personnel.

He was not immediately identified, and it was unclear whether he lived in the building.
