An 18-year-old man plunged to his death from the rooftop of a luxury apartment building in Brooklyn this evening, police said.

The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was on the roof of the St. George Tower on Hicks Street in Brooklyn Heights when he apparently jumped around 7:30 p.m., police said.

He crashed on the rooftop of a neighboring building on Pineapple Street.
