A homeless man in his 50s was killed today while running across the tracks of a Greenwich Village subway station, authorities said.
The victim, whose identity wasn’t immediately released, was fatally struck by a downtown No. 4 train inside the tunnel of the Bleecker Street stop, near Lafayette Street, at 8:45 a.m., cops said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to fire officials.
