A DJ at a New York City Spanish radio station was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn early Monday, authorities said.

DJ Jinx Paul, 39 — whose real name is Jean Paul Guerrero — of Mega 97.9 FM, was hit near Sheffield and Jamaica avenues in East New York around 4 a.m. He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle, described as a woman in her 20s or 30s, took off and was being sought. Police released a surveillance video of her black four-door sedan Monday evening.

In another accident Monday morning, a 62-year-old man was critically injured when he was struck by a car in Chinatown, authorities said.

The man was crossing at the intersection of Grand and Allen streets when he was struck by a Cadillac Escalade around 6:30 a.m.

He was listed in critical condition with head trauma at Bellevue Hospital.

The 53-year-old driver, who remained at the scene, has not been charged with a crime.
