A man was struck and killed by a subway at an Upper West Side subway station Thursday morning in an apparent suicide, police sources said.
The unidentified man was hit at the W. 72nd Street-Broadway station by an incoming northbound No. 1 train at around 6:40 a.m., according to officials.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No criminality is suspected, and police are investigating the incident, cops said.
The MTA shut down power at the station for more than an hour, but service was back to normal by 8:30 a.m.
