A 62-year-old man who was riding a scooter in Queens was killed Monday when he tried to avoid an open car door and collided with another vehicle, cops said.

The man swerved to miss the open door of a BMW when he was hit by a Toyota Tundra around 1:30 pm. at Jamaica Avenue and 107th Street in Richmond Hill, cops said.

He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital but couldn’t be saved.

His identity wasn’t immediately revealed.
