A man was randomly shot by a stranger in Rego Park while out with a friend early Tuesday morning, cops said.

Police say the 30-year-old victim was walking out of a store at 63rd Drive and Saunders Street just after 2 a.m., when a gunman fired seven shots from a distance.

Authorities don’t believe the shooter was targeting the victim, and an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

The man was taken in stable condition to Elmhurst Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, according to authorities.
