A disturbed Brooklyn man was injured in Williamsburg early this morning when an SUV from the Medical Examiner’s office ran him over, according to witnesses.

The wreck happened at about 12:45 a.m. when the man inexplicably threw himself into the street at Broadway and Marcus Garvey Boulevard after having a fight with another man, said Hugo Sanchez, 64, who knows the victim.

“He always throws himself in the street when he gets mad,” he said.

As the man was down on the pavement, the white official SUV came around the corner and ran him over.

The victim’s injuries were not known, but they were not expected to be life threatening.
