A New Jersey daredevil scaled a 17-story amusement-park ride in Seaside Heights Monday morning and planted an American flag to protest criminal charges against him — and was then charged with trespassing, reports said.

Chris Angulo, 45 — who has a history of public stunts — climbed up the 170-foot-tall Skyscraper ride at the Casino Pier amusement park in the Jersey Shore town, NJ.com reported.

Angulo said he would come down if he were given an attorney to review what he claimed were unfair charges against him in a domestic case in a different jurisdiction, the news site reported.

He climbed down after speaking to cops, who charged him with defiant trespass for the stunt.

He was taken to Community Medical Center for an evaluation, officials said.

His first court appearance is slated for July 14, NJ.com reported.

In 2013, months after Hurricane Sandy collapsed part of Casino Pier, Angulo swam out to the park’s sunken Jet Star roller coaster and planted a US flag there.

Last year, he tried to use a chainsaw to carve a giant peace sign on a large ice disk in a river in Westbrook, Maine.
