A thug shot a man dead in Brownsville early yesterday, bringing the city’s tragic tally of murders this year to 259.

Marlon Riley, 21, of The Bronx, was killed and a 16-year-old girl was wounded in the apparently gang-related shooting at 3:45 a.m. on Pitkin Avenue.

Last year, the NYPD recorded 286 homicides through July 23.
