A man was shot during a home invasion in Brooklyn, police said.
The confrontation happened just before 3 p.m. at 1501 Voorhies Ave. in Sheepshead Bay, cops said.
The man was transferred to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

The man who was shot is being treated for his injuries in a nearby hospital. Peter GerberHis injuries and condition were not immediately known, but he was expected to survive, authorities said.
It wasn’t clear what, if anything, was stolen as of Saturday evening. Details about the victim weren’t released and it wasn’t clear what led to the shooting.
No arrests have been made and police said the investigation is ongoing.
