A man was shot in the buttocks during an argument in Hell’s Kitchen on Tuesday night, police said.

The 52-year-old victim was wounded while in a dispute with another man on West 42nd Street near 9th Avenue at about 8:15 p.m., authorities said.

The victim walked to a nearby ambulance and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, sources said.

The suspect, who was concealing his firearm in a fanny pack, fled eastbound on West 42nd Street after the shooting, police and sources said. He remained in the wind hours later.

After the shooting, blood could be seen on a part of the 9th Avenue bike lane and a nearby sidewalk.

Investigators were also seen scouring area stores for surveillance cameras that may have captured the shooting.
