A man was shot in Washington Square Park Friday morning, police said.
The 38-year-old man, who was shot in the leg, was found on the southwest corner of the Greenwich Village park just after 5:15 a.m., officials said.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The wound may have been self-inflicted, sources said.
The park was still partially closed at 7 a.m., according to cops.
