A 36-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot several times while driving on a Brooklyn street Tuesday evening, police said Wednesday.
The victim was driving on MacDonough Street near Malcolm X Boulevard around 7 p.m. when the shooter approached his car and unloaded multiple rounds into his chest and hands, cops said.
He tried to drive away, but ended up crashing into a parked car on MacDonough Street and Lewis Avenue a block away, police said.
The man was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.
Cops say the motive behind the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made.
