A man was shot dead in front of a Bronx middle school early Saturday, police said.

Angel Perez, 27, had left his home around the corner on nearby Arthur Avenue just after 1 a.m. when his girlfriend heard a gunshot, police said.

She and a friend went to look for Perez and found his body on the street in front of MS 118 in Belmont.

Perez was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon.
