A man was slashed in the head at a Manhattan subway stop on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The slashing happened just before 4 p.m. at the E and M line’s Fifth Avenue/53rd Street station, cops said.

The 37-year-old victim was treated for minor injuries, according to police.

The unknown attacker took off down Sixth Avenue, cops said.
