He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was expected to recover, according to police.

The suspect is still at large, and police did not know if the man was targeted, or attacked at random on the subway platform.

The violence comes two days after a stabbing attack at another busy Midtown Manhattan station.

A man was stabbed five times on a platform at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle station Wednesday after he tried to break up a fight between a man and a woman, according to police.
