A 38-year-old man was slashed in the neck by a stranger who followed him off a train at a Brooklyn subway station, police said Thursday.
The attacker said “Go ahead” and let John Edemodu get off the A Subway train first at the Nostrand Avenue and Fulton Street train station in Bedford Stuyvesant at about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, police sources said. The attacker then followed him up the stairs and pounced, cutting his face with an unknown object.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition with a laceration to the right side of his neck. The slasher fled west on the A train platform and continued into the tunnel.
The suspect is 6-foot-2 and was sporting dreadlocks and a black jacket.
