A 35-year-old man was slashed in the head during a mugging in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.

The man was outside of 1368 Loring Ave. in East New York about 1 p.m. when he was confronted by four men who cut him with a sharp object and stole his wallet.

He was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
