A man who was “acting erratically” on a Manhattan subway spit on a fellow straphanger as he got off the train, according to police, who released video of the vile incident this week.
The stranger, who cops say appeared to be an emotionally disturbed person, started yelling at the 27-year-old woman inside a northbound 1 train at the 103rd Street Station on the Upper West Side around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 6, authorities said late Wednesday.
When he got out of the train, the man, who was not wearing a mask, continued yelling and then spit on her, video released by police shows.
Cops had no further details on what the man was ranting about. He was still on the loose Thursday morning.
