A man was stabbed multiple times during a fight inside Union Square Park Monday evening, authorities said.

The 23-year-old victim had been arguing with another man in a section of the park between East 14th and East 15 streets when the fight escalated around 9:30 p.m.

The suspect stabbed the man twice in the stomach and ran. The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, officials said.
