A 60-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in an Upper West Side park, police said Friday.

The victim was in Riverside Park near West 84th Street at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday when he got into an argument with another man, who pulled out a knife and attacked him, cops said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai-St. Luke’s Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Witnesses told detectives that the assailant had stuck around after the attack and was hiding in the bushes, ABC reported.

The 34-year-old suspect was taken into custody shortly after and charges are pending, police said.

Investigators believe the two knew each other, but it was not clear what the fight was about.
