A pair of brutes stabbed a man seven times in the chest and back early Wednesday in Midtown, police said.

The 28-year-old victim was squabbling with the pair around 4 a.m. near 8th Avenue and West 47th Street when the argument took a bloody turn, police and sources told The Post.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious but stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, an FDNY spokeswoman said.

Police are still looking for his attackers, one of whom was wearing a black sweatshirt and the other an orange sweatshirt.
