A straphanger stabbed a fellow subway rider multiple times on a Brooklyn platform Friday afternoon, cops said.
The latest act of violence on the underground unfolded just after 2 p.m. on the 3 line platform at the Bergen Street subway stop in Prospect Heights, according to police.
Cops say a 22-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man had gotten into an argument while riding the subway and, when both exited onto the platform, the woman pulled a knife.
She then stabbed the man in the chest, back and neck, police said.
The man was rushed to Methodist Hospital and was expected to survive, according to police.
Cops took the woman, whose name was not released, into custody and recovered the knife, police said.
