A man died after he was stabbed in Harlem and fled into the subway Wednesday night, according to police.

Cops say the victim, a 53-year-old man, was stabbed above ground near 116th St. and Lenox Ave. around 8:45 p.m. in what appears to be a robbery.

The man then ran underground and boarded a southbound 2 train, only to collapse one stop later at Central Park North / 110th St., authorities said.

Straphangers called 911 from that station 8:55 p.m. and paramedics rushed the victim to St. Luke’s Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries soon after, according to the FDNY. The victim’s name has not yet been released.

The suspect is still at large. Cops were searching for the weapon Wednesday night.
