The victim, a 36-year-old man who lived in Manhattan, was inside the New Star Café on West 40th Street when he got into an argument with his attacker around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

He was stabbed twice in the torso before stumbling outside and collapsing in front of Hale & Hearty, just steps away from CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism, police said.

He was found bleeding on the sidewalk and rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
