Two men were viciously stabbed steps away from a movie theater on the Lower East Side Saturday night — leaving one dead and one wounded, cops said.
The violence broke out near Regal Essex Crossing on Delancey Street and Norfolk Street at 8:32 p.m, police said.
A man, believed to be in his 20s, was knifed in the abdomen, while a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the back, according to cops.
Police arrested two suspects near the scene shortly after the stabbing. William MillerMedics rushed them to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, but the older victim could not be saved.
The teen was listed in stable condition.
A knife was recovered at the scene, according to sources.
