A man swiped a pricey wedding band and engagement ring set from a Staten Island jeweler — and a woman helped him carry out the scheme, new video released by cops shows.

The man wandered into Jewelers on Fifth at 55 Richmond Terrace in St. George at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 18 and asked to see a three-piece his-and-hers wedding band/engagement ring set valued at $17,400, police said.

The footage, released Thursday night, shows the suspect briefly looking at the set.

Then a woman walked up to the entrance, and the suspect asked the employee to buzz her in so she could see the rings too, authorities said.

The alleged thief is shown walking to the door — with the rings — pretending that he was about to let the woman in, but instead he ran out the door, the clip shows.

The employee tried to run after him but was unsuccessful.

Police are still looking for the pair.
