A man was struck and killed by a Long Island Rail Road train in Forest Hills early Sunday, officials said.
The unidentified man, believed to be in his 20s, was hit by a Penn Station-bound train on the Babylon branch near the Forest Hills Station in Queens at about 5:15 am, according to an MTA representative.
Service was temporarily suspended on the line but resumed by 7 a.m., the MTA said.
The incident is under investigation by the MTA police.
