A man was struck and killed by an L train in the East Village, authorities said.
A cop source said he jumped in front of the train at the East 14th Street and First Avenue station just before 1 p.m., and was found under the fourth car, officials said.
He died at the scene.
L train service between Eighth Avenue in Chelsea and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg was suspended due to a police investigation.
The MTA is asking riders to use the A, C, J, M or M14 buses.
