A 20-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after ice fell off a building in Midtown on Wednesday afternoon and hit him in the head, officials said.

The man was walking in front of 32 W. 48th St. around 1:45 p.m. when the ice broke off the building and hit him, causing a deep cut. He was taken by ambulance to NY Presbyterian Hospital, officials said.

The FDNY was called to the building to remove the ice to prevent further injury, sources said.
