A Queens man put his pricey Patek Philippe watch on consignment with a New York City auction house which lost it in a fire, according to a new lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The Patek Philippe Calatrava wristwatch, which can sell for over $25,000, was in the custody of Pawn & Seizure Enforcement Live Auctioneers of America in 2016 when an employee left it inside his car, which caught fire, the owner charges.

Owner Andrew Pagliara wants more than $23,000 in damages.
