A 35-year-old man suffered a severe leg injury after being struck by a Manhattan-bound R train in Sunset Park, authorities said.

The unidentified victim was hit at Fourth Avenue and 53rd Street around 10:45 a.m., and rushed to Lutheran Hospital in serious condition, a spokesman for the FDNY said.

It was not immediately clear how the victim landed on the tracks.
