Police released a video Monday of a man who swiped a statue from a Brooklyn church, then tossed it in the trash and walked away.

The suspect took the statue from inside the lobby of St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Ninth Street in Park Slope about 11 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.

The footage shows him walking out of the building carrying the red-colored item over his shoulder, as fabric drapes down from his back.

Police said the man then threw the statue into a garbage can before fleeing from the scene. Police did not specify the extent of the damage caused.
