An anonymous prankster tapped into the police radio system late Saturday, sending cops scrambling with false reports that a fellow officer had been shot in the leg in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The convincing false transmissions of an officer needing assistance at one point featured the fake cop panting as if in hot foot pursuit of a pair of gun-toting perps who also didn’t exist.

Cops quickly realized the reports were fake, and an investigation continued into Sunday morning.
