A man chucked a drink at a straphanger and hurled an anti-Asian statement at him inside a Manhattan subway station, cops said.

The 34-year-old victim was on the Brooklyn-bound R train platform of the 8th Street/NYU station in Noho around 10:30 a.m. April 15 when the stranger tossed the unspecified beverage at him and snarled, “F–k you, Asian a–hole,” cops said.

The victim was not injured.

The suspect is shown in surveillance footage released by cops late Monday.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

The incident came amid a surge in crimes against Asian victims across New York City and elsewhere.
