A man was violently robbed in Central Park on Monday night, police said.
The victim was walking along West Drive near West 90th Street when two masked men approached him at 8:35 p.m., according to police.
One of the suspects whipped out a folding knife, and a second man started to punch him, cops said.
They fled with his phone on the East Bridle Path, cops said.
One of the men was about 5-foot-8 and the other 6 feet tall, cops said.
The 38-year-old man was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital with back injuries and bruising, police said.
