A man walked into a hospital with two gunshot wounds Saturday — and police are looking into whether he was the shooter who fatally blasted a Harlem man a week earlier, authorities said.
The 24-year-old walked into New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left leg and the stomach, cops said.
He told investigators he was shot outside an apartment building on Academy Street near Nagle Avenue in Inwood a week earlier at about 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, police said.
Jorge Rodriguez, 19, was blasted in the back of the head in that shooting and pronounced dead shortly after, police said.
Authorities are now investigating if the 24-year-old was the gunman in the shooting.
No arrests were immediately made, cops said.
