A Crown Heights man who hurled a girl’s Barbie bike at four NYPD cops from a fifth-floor balcony last June was sentenced Monday to six years in prison.
Bryan Jiminez, 36, pleaded guilty earlier this month in Brooklyn Supreme Court to attempted assault of a police officer in exchange for the six-year sentence and five years post-release supervision.
He’ll serve the time on top of a three-year sentence for drug possession in The Bronx.
The deal was brokered after consulting the four officers – one of whom was seriously injured and required staples to close a gash on his head, law-enforcement sources said.
“They were very satisfied with the plea,” the source said.
The three other officers suffered a concussion, bruising to the head and a cut forearm, respectively.
The cops, all from the 77th precinct, had been busting a gunman at 959 St. Mark’s Avenue at 2 a.m. when Jiminez threw the pink and purple child’s bike at them.
Jiminez’s attorney declined to comment.
