Cops fatally shot a Brooklyn man Friday night who made news when he was punched in the face in August by the bodyguard for a pal of Kim Kardashian’s authorities said.

Denis Volchkin, 28, lunged at cops with a knife inside his Sheepshead Bay home at about 7:30 p.m. Friday, law-enforcement sources said.

Volchkin, of East 26th Street, tried to stab officers with a kitchen knife after his mother called the cops following a domestic dispute, the sources said.

As officers made their way upstairs, Volchkin caught them off-guard and lunged at them with a knife, authorities said.

An officer shot Volchkin in the torso, and he was rushed to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Four knives were recovered at the scene, according to a law-enforcement source.

Kim Kardashian pal Jonathan Cheban’s bodyguard Saverio Carollo, 40, was busted in August and faces assault charges after he clocked Volchkin in the face at a Brooklyn restaurant — sending the man to the hospital for emergency surgery, law-enforcement sources said.

The scuffle – reported by The Post’s Page Six – went down at the Mikasa Japanese restaurant and ended when the 265-pound “Sal the Contractor” socked Volchkin in the face.
