The cuckolded Brooklyn chef who slashed his neighbor’s face with a wine glass after he found the man in bed with his wife cried in court Monday as he was sentenced to the minimum 3 1/2 years in prison.

“I was put in a position where I had to defend myself in the heat of the moment,” sobbed Diego Ramos, 27, who claimed at trial that he cut Omar Campos in self defense after he walked into the bedroom and Campos attacked him.

Campos had asked that Ramos get the maximum 15 years behind bars.

“I have to face myself in the mirror every day, and I’ll have these scars for the rest of my life,” Campos wrote in a letter read at the sentencing.

Ramos, who has cooked at Teddy’s in Williamsburg and Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton, will be deported back to Ecuador after serving his sentence, his lawyer said.
